Windows / FS-UAE not launching

I can't seem to run FS-UAE as my emulator/debugger.

When I set "emulatorType": "fs-uae", in launch.json it still launches WinUAE.

I tried copying the prb28.amiga-assembly-1.8.13\dist\bin\fs-uae folder to bartmanabyss.amiga-debug-1.7.9\bin\win32 but it didn't work.

How do I switch to use FS-UAE on Windows?

On Windows only WinUAE is supported.
We ship a custom build of WinUAE.

Any reason why you can't include a build of FS-UAE for Windows? Unfortunately WinUAE doesn't work over Remote Desktop.

I've tried using the FS-UAE build from the Amiga Assembly extension.

Edited bartmanabyss.amiga-debug-1.7.9\dist\extension.js changing:

Then added command line options --remote_debugger=60 --remote_debugger_port=2345 --remote_debugger_trigger=...

But I get an error:

Failed to launch GDB: Remote replied unexpectedly to 'vMustReplyEmpty': E01 (from interpreter-exec console "target remote localhost:2345")

If you want you can try building the special FS-UAE version that is linked in the REaDMe. But officially we only support WinUaE on windows.

The UAE needs a special gdbserver developed by me.

I made a pull request with my changes so FS-UAE will build in Mingw-w64.

You can download a pre-compiled binary with dependencies here.

I can get the template to run using the following launch.json entry (along with the mod above to extension.js)

This was obviously just to test it's working. So would it be possible to add FS-UAE support for Windows into the extension now?

Also I have some additional requests for the next release if you don't mind:

1. Can we have the .exe extension as a setting that can be changed? I'd prefer not to have an extension (empty string).
2. Is it possible to have a setting to allow override of the built-in dh0 so we can build directly to our own specified folder rather than have it launch from dh1? My project has data files so I have to provide my own dh0 anyway so it would be nice to be able to boot directly into it.
3. Allow launching of the emulator without attaching debugger (noDebug option in AA)
4. Allow debugger to break on entry (stopOnEntry option in AA)
