Persistent peer not available

after starting cosmovisor.service it got stuck in the following loop trying to connect to the peer:

I speculated that the persistent peer used in the cosmovisor.service file was offline and or jailed. So we tried to switch up the
<list_of_persistent_peers> parameter in the cosmovisor.service file to a peer that was online at that time this solved the issue after reload and restart of the service.

we got the needed info from a node operator using the command:
./baseledgerd tendermint show-node-id

and inserted as list of peers in the following format <peer_node_id>@<peer_node_ip>:26656
