unifying receiver stuck in nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR cant go back to same after Research Firmware

i have a unifying receiver dongle which when plugged in always used to show nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR which i guess was due to no firmware on it so in hopes to get it working i flashed you nrf-research-firmware and apparently its just stuck on that, if i run the logitech-usb-restore it gets it back to nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR temporarily untill i unplug and replug i but cant get it to a state where i can flash the unifying receiver hex file or just remain back on nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR, any help is appreciated

on plugging it in i see this

is there any way to get out of the 2 modes and go back to stock logitech

Hey @xbipin, I flashed this firmware and the receiver got stuck in the bootloader too.
What eventually fixed it was the following:
Get device ID:
$ sudo fwupdtool get-devices and look for your unifying receiver.
$ sudo fwupdtool install https://fwupd.org/downloads/2443cef8b1dae48751d3c60dab22210733e57036-Logitech-Unifying-RQR12.11_B0032.cab <DEVICE_ID>

You might need the RQR24 version instead, the links to both can be found here.

i tried it but the problem in my case is fwupdtool get-devices doesn't list the device_id at all for this, lsusb shows it as nordic semiconductors device.
As i mentioned earlier i think my dongle didnt have any unifying firmware on it earlier hence it used to show nRF24LU1P-F32 BOOT LDR always and then after flashing nrf-research-firmware it got stuck there only and now fwupdtool wont list it at all so cant force a firmware flash even, is there a way to list unknown device_ids so can force flash and see if i can get it to Logitech uniyfing?
