I verified with GIMP that on my Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon Framework 13 Firefox do not have this issue at all, see #201.

The previous release was go-gitea/gitea/releases/tag/v1.24.3 published on Jul 15. I updated my instance on 21/07/25 12:07:13, source: root@overclock3000 history | grep GITEA, so noticing the issue only less than a week after seems decent. More than previous release being go-gitea/gitea/releases/tag/v1.24.2 published on 20/06/25.

Based on the release description only:

Fix some log and UI problems (go-gitea#34863) (go-gitea#34868)

seems relevant, but from both first pull request comments, it does not seem relevant.

If change cancel to primary, then the background color of Cancel button is the same as Save one, but still have the vertical position issue.

Changing submit with button does not change anything graphically.

If change the order of button, then the right is always the down one.

If remove class tw-justify-end, then there is no graphical change.

If remove flex-text-block, then both buttons spans the whole width and they are vertically consecutive.

Can't easily figure out in strictly less than linear time in rules if one is involving this vertical shift. Especially as seem to have irrelevant CSS. Maybe should consider parent CSS. Can inner HTML have specific CSS compared to parent?

Other tabs than Rules do not seem helpful.
