Good news, everyone. You can now play Lego Dimensions on an emulated PS4. No more PS3 graphics. See here shadps4-compatibility/shadps4-game-compatibility#411. The bad news. At this time, because there is no emulated toypad option (for Skylanders or Lego Dimensions), I do not think it is possible to use the virtual machine version of the toypad. It might work with the Raspberry Pi version though but I don't have that device to test that.
