From Frank B:
"Type specimens are unique and very valuable. Under 'Curation' it would therefore make a lot of sense to emphasize the field, displaying for example the entry in a conspicuous color or at least in bold?
Calling emphasis to the fact that a specimen is a type should be highlighted not only when editing data in a collection. It would be equally important to highlight this when anyone searches for specimens. For the list being returned (from a Classic or Advanced Search) as well as in the Details pop-up, it would be very useful if the content of the Type Status field could be displayed prominantly, e.g., searching for Sarcogyne reebiae, it is not immediately apparent that one specimen annotates as S. similis is the type of that taxon."
