What happened?
When creating a new checklist, one can hand draw a polygon to act as the boundaries for the checklist region. Some things appear not to be working with the new version(s):
-
When creating the polygon, it seems that you cannot edit the individual "dots" of the map. I believe you used to be able to delete and/or move the dots around.
-
After the polygon is created, one can no longer view the file specifying the dot coordinates of the map. You used to be able to.
-
As others have requested, it would be very nice to be able to upload a kml or kmz file for the polygon.
-
After the polygon is created, when on trying to find voucher specimens, an easy option is to click "Search based on polygon defining checklist research boundaries." This used to use the map created originally as the boundaries of the voucher search. Now, however, when clicked, you get somewhat of an error message, and you must re-draw the boundaries. Some maps take much time to draw, so this is undesirable. It should, I think, simply allow you to access the original polygon, not have to create a new one.
I think that's it. Thanks.
