Just a couple of questions:

1. I just submitted SVGs in my first PRs, but do we also want PNGs in three sizes like 16x16, 24x24, and 32x32? Creating them should be fairly simple with the export helper Figma plugin I put together
2. Should I add that plugin also to this repo?

I'm fine with just SVGs as I presume people who use the set are familiar with converting to PNGs. Seems unnecessary to have PNGs.

Forgot to mention, but there's an extra level of detail you get with the exports at custom sizes. The different sized icons are not just scaled, but each size has customization for best rendering at that size. By doing this step for others, we not only simplify their work, but also give them better-looking icons.

I guess it can't hurt to have them. We could structure the folders so SVGs are in a src folder and PNGs in an icons folder?

I just set up a similar folder structure for the hardware illustration repo yesterday. Probably not ideal as I have an "SVG" folder and then folders called "75", "112", "150", "300" for the PNG sizes. Might be a bit confusing, but TBH, I don't think it's a huge deal if the README description is solid.

If I understand your suggest correctly, it would look like this, right?

/src/filled
/icons/outline/16
/icons/outline/24
/icons/outline/32
/icons/filled/16
/icons/filled/24
/icons/filled/32

Would it be alright to stick with SVG and PNG instead of src and icons, as this would also work for the hardware illustrations also?

Sticking with SVG / PNG is fine with me, clearer to designers. Yep that's the structure I had in mind!
