+The Black Python Devs Leadership Summit is a Single Day workshop where leaders in the Python Community are invited to connect, grow, and learn with one another. 
+
+We are happy to announce the 2026 Black Python Devs Leadership Summit, held the day before PyOhio **July 25 2026** at the PyOhio Venue - **Cleveland State University Student Center in Cleveland, OH**.
+
+This is done in partnership with the [PyOhio Organization](https://www.pyohio.org/2026/) that Black Python Devs has been proud to support for several years.
+
+## Who is invited?
+
+Even though Black Pyhon Devs is the producer of this event, this event is a public event held under the Code of Conduct for [Black Python Devs](https://blackpythondevs.com/code-of-conduct.html) and [PyOhio](https://www.pyohio.org/2026/code-of-conduct/).
+
+Anyone in leadership or wanting to get into leadership at the local, regional, or global level of the Python community and its many organizations will benefit from attending this event.
+

+## Is there a CFP
+
+For the first time we're opening up the afternoon sessions to selected speakers from a Call for Papers (CFP). We hope to bring presentations from folks all over to energize and inform today's and tomorrow's Leaders of the Python Community.
+
+The [CFP is currently open](https://pretalx.com/pyohio-2026/submit). Set the track to _Black Python Devs Leadership Summit_. Talk should be 20 minutes with Q&A.
+
+We're looking for submissions around the following:
+
+- serving as a leader in a regional or global tech community
+- organizing a meetup, workshop, or conference
+- event planning
+- open source leadership
+- community engagement
+- fundraising
+- surprise us!
+
+## Is there speaker reimbursement?
+
+**YES!** Our Community speakers will able to reimburse travel-based expenses based on our [travel support policy](https://github.com/BlackPythonDevs/blackpythondevs/blob/main/policies/volunteer-travel-support.md).

+We're happy to be partnering with PyOhio this year and they've agreed to let us user their CFP system. This gives us the ability to invite potential speakers. We will reveal instructions soon!
