Hi all :)
I'm dumpa, social entreprenuer, thinker, writer. I have thought a lot about how ethereum can be used for social good and have a couple of ideas.
VACA BACANA
The vacabacana team wants to re-launch an idea with giveth, or a dao....
Vaca Bacana is a couple of years old and was giving away 1 million colombian pesos (around 300 USD) to one project every month that with less than 1 million Colombian pesos could impact a community with happiness.
- we want people to make lots with little money. To show that you can change the world with little.
- to connect Bacanes (Colombian slang for nice people) with money and desire to change the world but no time, with people that are doing with their bare hands, and don't have much money.
- a VACA (Colombian slang) is when we will gather money to do something
- So if you had 12 people giving 30 usd a month you can give a project 300 USD to create happiness.
The problem
The problem is that everyone is thinking how to make money, make a huge impact, scale, and there is no room for many that just want to make something small to create some happiness.

We have
- We have a community, our social networks, and people wanting to apply.
- We have a brand (beautiful btw)
- We have some people that have already donated and will do again (I just have to explain to them what crypto is)
- We have an NGO that can deal with legal stuff if necessary
- we had a consider.it profile where bacanes used to vote, I can't find it anymore.
Me and the vacabacana team
Vacabacana already has a great team, but needs developers.
- a Happiness ambassador
- an anthropologist rural change maker
- a great social administrator wanting to fix the world
I want to re-learn to code. Have done some coding going through my BSc, MSc, and Phd. And 20 years later the world changed.
I used to study with complexity, game theory, simulations social behaviour, and later became an entrepreneur with a 3d printing open source company, and a design lab focused on social innovation. I have worked with rural, indigenous, and marginal communities in Colombia.
What I need
Code it into giveth (whatever this means)
I need help with coding, will put all the effort but i'm rusted. Any help welcome.
Also code audits, it's a smart contract giving away money.
Will need also to think about how to market or turn into a pilot program.
