Simple suggestion: the current copper ore crushing recipe only gives 2 grit, which seems to be an artifact of ye olde days when copper wasn't in vanilla and worked like iron/gold
modern vanilla copper ore drops 2-5 raw ore (up to 20 with fortune 3 apparently), which means that it's always worse to crush copper ore blocks unless you want the 10% gold drop chance. Buffing the ore to drop 6 grit would mean that it's always better to crush than to mine (assuming an average drop of 3.5 raw copper), while something like 8 grit would stack better and would make crushing ore blocks even more useful (though still inferior to fortune 3 + crushing the raw ore, which would be consistent with other ore blocks)
