An unexpected error occurred when rendering. - Windows desktop application #2968
Description
I have an iPhone and use the Windows desktop application to message on my PC. The error "An unexpected error occurred when rendering." happens in the Windows desktop application. Currently the only pattern I can observe is that this is only happening with the 5 people I have location sharing enabled with.
Individual messages don't work with each one of these people, and group messages containing exclusively people I have location sharing enabled also do not show up. See screenshot below for the issue.
- I have uninstalled/reinstalled the windows desktop app
- I have reset the windows desktop app to defaults
- I have uninstalled/reinstalled the server
- I am using an m1 mac mini that is updated to the latest macOS version
- private api features are not enabled
- notification configuration with firebase is not set up since I'm only using the Windows application
- I am using a direct LAN connection only
