Enable SMS fallback in server

Is it possible to enable SMS fallback so if a message fails when trying to text someone who doesn’t have an iPhone it falls back to sms? This obviously assumes that the iCloud account is logged in with an iPhone that has a SIM card with text message forwarding on, and it may seem pointless but the bluebubbles server is a great way to automate sending iMessages and would be easier if it could also send sms as a fallback

After investigating a bit further adding "chatGuid": "sms;-;+xxxxxxxxxxx", successfully sends the message but throws an error and never returns a response body to the api. I also don’t see a way to tell if a number is sms vs iMessage before attempting to send the text

Would be useful to know this as well. I'd even love to know how to check a number before sending and then route it elsewhere for sending.
