BlueSCSIv2 PICO 1 not working for Amiga 2000

I'm hoping someone can help me diagnose this. When I try to prep the "harddrive" on my Amiga 2000, I get...

I bought an SD SCSI board off Aliexpress -> https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010772708393.html and discovered its a BlueSCSIv2 PICO 1 board variant.

I installed the latest firmware, v2026.03.01

I am using it on an Amiga 2000 with an A2091 SCSI card, that has been upgraded with v7 roms and a v8 SCSI chip as directed by this site -> https://blog.worldofjani.com/?p=7485

I created an image file using DiskJockey, filename HD10_512 500MB.hda

Hello,
This is an unlicensed (and likely license-violating) clone of the BlueSCSI V2 hardware design.
I don't think it's appropriate to ask the maintainers of the original to maintain the unlicensed clone.

It is - and if this clone is a based on any of androda's designs and it is not attributed to him and/or you did not receive an offer for the design files or firmware then that is what he's talking about.

Since we don't know how this was designed there's no way to tell if there's a bug in the hardware. We know people use our hardware in the Amiga 2000 without issue. Looking at the reviews on the link you sent I wouldn't put this in a computer I cared about.

Funny thing is this is this is $17 more with than our open designs and that includes a legit pico2w.

Hopefully the Aliexpress seller can help you out.

I found Joe's Computer Museum selling the BlueSCSIv2 Desktop with Wifi (DIY kit) for USD37 and shipping to Australia was USD20 - other places were either out of stock, or more expensive. Looking forward to testing.
