Adjusting font size slightly

I am very new to working with this library and these displays, but I am wondering if someone knows how to adjust the font size up slightly. If I use font style (8) when the time is above 59 seconds then it will overlap the outer count down ring. I have tried other font styles such as (6) but the size is slightly too small. Is there a way to bump the size up a little bit on size 6 or reduce the size of style 8? Having trouble finding documentation on these questions.
