Auto-Stop Workers

Currently, we start {n} Workers and fully let them finish.
Then we ignore all first 500frames of its output and continue with the rest of the data.

However this takes a lot of time. Idealy the Script would only run a singular worker for a few hundred frames (after 500) and then stop.
This would speed up the tests significantly, as we would not have to wait for workers to finish transcoding the ENTIRE file.

Thats not enough.
Idealy you should implement statistical mean and a minimum diviation over a rolling timeframe to ensure a conclusive result.

I have that on my list for addition into to whitepaper, "soon (tm)"

No, the proposal is not to only run 500 frames.
We ignore the first 500 Output-Frames (since that was in the whitepaper last time I checked).

And now the proposal is to just include (documentation)
-frames:v {whatever} into the server provided args, so that the server can tell ffmpeg directly where to "stop" testing

Instead of using -frames:v xxxx it would also be possible to limit the files playTIME (not as Ideal imo though)
There dont seem to be any time options that correlate to frames directly in the syntax for -t here
