Just wondering about this:

Temperature to turn on sprinklers during the hottest times of the day

The hottest part of the day is the worst time to water, most of it evaporates before getting to the plants' roots, so you're just wasting water and raising the dewpoint locally. This is why professional sprinkler systems usually run at night or dawn.

Yeah might not be the best example. Living in the UK, sprinklers aren't usually needed :p
