Weighting - Higher or Lower number takes priority? #37

Hey, just in the process of migrating my target sensors from the OE integration. I'm trying to understand weighting. Is it the higher the number the higher the priority or lower the priority. I.e. Does it mean weight it down the priority, or give it more priority. Simple example. I have my water heater turn on for an hour a night, however it typically reaches temperature in the first 30-45mins, so I want to give priority to the first half an hour of the hour slot. Do I use 1,2, or 2,1? Thanks |

The weighting is a multiplier applied to the value, in this case the rate/price. Therefore it depends on if you have turned on "find highest price". When turned off, lower will take priority. When turned on, higher will take priority. |
