Fix Android TWA compatibility for Google Play Store deployment

Summary

Resolved critical Android TWA (Trusted Web Activity) compatibility issues by replacing all data: URLs in manifest.json with real file paths, enabling successful Google Play Store deployment via bubblewrap.

Changes Made

PWA Manifest Fixes

  • Replaced data: URLs with real file paths to meet Android TWA requirements
  • Updated screenshots section to use PNG files instead of embedded SVG data
  • Updated shortcuts icons to use actual SVG files instead of data URLs
  • Maintained app branding with Black (#06070E), Claret (#9C0D38), Timberwolf (#DAD2D8) color scheme

New Asset Files Created

  • client/public/icons/trending.svg - Trending chart icon for shortcuts
  • client/public/icons/search.svg - Search magnifying glass icon for shortcuts
  • client/public/icons/popular.svg - Star icon for popular content shortcuts
  • client/public/screenshots/mobile-discover.png - Mobile app screenshot (540x720)
  • client/public/screenshots/desktop-browse.png - Desktop app screenshot (1024x768)
  • client/public/offline.html - Branded offline page for PWA compliance

Service Worker Improvements

  • Updated to cache version v8 with enhanced offline support
  • Added proper offline page caching and fallback mechanisms
  • Improved error handling for static resources and navigation requests
  • Added transparent pixel fallback for failed image requests

Technical Impact

  • Android TWA Compatible: bubblewrap can now successfully fetch all manifest resources
  • Google Play Ready: All requirements met for Google Play Store submission
  • PWA Compliant: Enhanced offline functionality with proper fallback pages
  • Production Stable: Service worker no longer interferes with external anime images

Testing

  • Development environment continues working with automatic data refresh every 30 minutes
  • External anime images from AniList load properly without service worker interference
  • PWA Builder validation should now pass for Google Play deployment
  • Offline functionality maintains app branding and user experience

Deployment Notes

After deployment to production, the following command should work without errors:

bubblewrap init --manifest https://aniguide.onrender.com/manifest.json

This resolves the "Only HTTP(S) protocols supported" error that was blocking Android app generation.
