Hey friend.. thanks for sharing this material! I am currently working on the RFID emulation, changing from Adafruit to seed studio library, in which I needed to add some new functions to make it work with what we already have.. Atm I am making the NDEF emulation to work, but I'll take a look over this ideia, so maybe I can bring something over from it.. |

Hi,
I wanted to share something I recently came across while looking into NFC on PN532-based devices.
While exploring the Nautilus firmware for the LilyGO T-Embed, I noticed some very recent code (only a few days old) that implements NFC tag emulation using the PN532. This includes:
Relevant links:
From what I can tell, this suggests that the PN532 is not strictly limited to read/write functionality, but can support practical card emulation (at least for NTAG/Ultralight) when handled carefully in software.
I’m still learning, so I might be missing limitations here, but I thought this could be interesting to share as a possible experimental idea for PN532-supported boards.
I’d be curious to hear thoughts on feasibility, stability, and reader compatibility from people with more experience.
