Screen rotation (1.69”)

Hey guys,

I've found on the code the screen rotation 0/180degrees. But couldn't understand how to set it.
How do I flip the screen 180° in the 1,69" screen?

Hi. Screen rotation is a new feature that is coming in version 1.0.7. I am just doing final tests before I release the builds to beta.
This release has a new web page that can change presets and can change all of the Tonex parameters.
I should have it released in another 1 or 2 days, then you can update to get the rotation feature.

I'm working on the 1.69" and designed it upside down for simplicity of the box, but now realized that rotating wasn't trivial 🫥
I will wait for the 1.0.7 release then.
Box is coming out very nice :)

Wow, yeah that looks amazing.
Actually here is the 1.69" beta release. You can have a try if you like. You can get to the configuration web page the same way as before, but in the configuration you can now also change it so the controller will connect to your home wifi network, which then makes the web page available to any device on your network.

Rotation is in the "Misc" group, see below.

how did you wire the footswitches?

Momentary footswtiches (closes only while pressed).
One pole to the port. The other pole to Gnd/Common.

Physically speaking, I've soldered a pin in one of the poles (GPIO pole). That way I could connect the supplied cable with the esp32. On the other pole (Gnd) I've soldered a wire going to each other footswitch pole (gnd). On the last one I've bridged to the esp32 ground.
The wiring can be followed on the provided chapter "hw wiring" where you can find such diagram:

The colors provided in these diagrams are accurate with the wires supplied with from waveshare, which makes everything a little easier to doublecheck.

The left most pedal is #1, followed by #2, #3 and #4 on the right side.

It's working fantastically!
I'm waiting a final component to finish it the way I've planned. It's a diode bridge to put on the input of the voltage regulator, that way the polarity of the 9V power supply won't matter.
I'll add that and some other protection features. It should be here in the next couple days. I will then write the project and share all files, also with the list of components.

I plan working on that during the weekend, but no promises. Let's see.
