Is it possible to override the Drag&Drop behavior for the main window?

It is, I tried to enable dragging Python files to load them, like lisp or arx.

It works, but it nukes all of AutoCAD's drag n drop, so the other file types no longer work. It’s a bad design because I should be able to pass on everything but .pyi .pyc on AutoCAD’s handler. I ended up scrapping the idea

how did you do it? can't you check that it's not a python file and call the old OnDrop function?

Yay, finally got it to work, AutoCAD only though

I was able to get drag and drop to work on ZwCAD when dragging a Python file to the command line window

It’s a bit weird, AutoCAD and BricsCAD, allow drag to the view frame, but won’t let me attach to the command frame
GstarCAD and ZwCAD are missing function acedAddDropTarget, be let me attach to the command frame

Next version.
Does not handle reload, I thought about adding reload, but there are some cases the the module might not be setup for it, and I don;t want to cause people to lose work because of a dumb crash
