Highlight block object

I have a block reference with two lines, and I know that the handle of one of these lines is 256. I can select this line, for example, using the command:

_SELECT
(HANDENT "256")

However, this does not cause highlighting. Is it possible to highlight such an element from the ARX level? I understand that the given element may appear in multiple places/different layouts.

I don’t think so, the block reference does not own the entity, with the exception of attributes

I found an autodesk blog where they used an overrule, I think I would rather clone the object and erase it later
