pyDEBUG, How to use with VSCODE?
My systsem, GstarCAD 2025, python 3.12.10 and VSCODE 1.107.0.
How to debug PyRx script? or, Have other youtube clip that teach this task?

Assuming you’re using VSCode for your editor. You first need to setup your VSCode configuration

There’s a copy of my settings here:

Next you will need to start the listener; there’s a sample here:
PySamples/testPyRxDebug.py

in this sample,

first pyload testPyRxDebug.py, then start the listener with the sample command pystartdebug
place a break point inside PyRxCmd_doit, near db = Db.curDb()
in VSCode, start debugging
back in AutoCAD run the command ‘doit’
And the break point should hit. Note, debugging is on for the session. As a side effect you can edit your code, use the pyreload command to reload your module, and continue debugging

in the next release, there will be a new command PYDEBUG that will replace the need to use pystartdebug

After load testPyRxDebug.py, no pystartdebug command in this script.

Sorry about GstarCAD, I had a task to fix shutdown crashes in task #422, It worked in 2026, but not 2025
I think I found the problem. I will publish a new release after a thorough test.
