cmake minimum version error

I am trying to install open pose and run a basic demo. Trying to follow instructions here https://cmu-perceptual-computing-lab.github.io/openpose/web/html/doc/md_doc_installation_0_index.html#cmake-configuration

I have been at it for hours now but my cmake configuration keeps failing with the error below.

The cmake version on my macOS pc is cmake version 4.0.0. I dont understand whats the problem here.

Would be great if someone can help out. Thank you in advance.

This is an issue with cmake_minimum_required. Check your CMakeLists.txt files (there's multiple) and change the parameter from any older version like 3.x to 3.5. It should resolve the issue.

I had the same problem and applied the changes in the pull request, but when I selected BUILD_PYTHON to On in CMake, PyBind11 starting giving similar error, because it has "cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.8.12)"
Similarly, in 18 other places in the project, there are similar cmake_minimum_required(VERSION X.X.X) below 3.5
After replacing all of these instances, you get another error:
Found PythonInterp: C:/-----/-----/.pyenv/pyenv-win/shims/python3.7

I do not believe this is a related error, but it may be.
