Preserve Block Selection Even After Performing a Block Operation

From a conversation with Ferdinand:
"When performing an action on a selection then the selection is removed. So when e.g. wanting to ident a block more than one tab then one first has to select the block, press tab, select the block again, press tab again etc. It would be better if the selection would persist."
