These components (hopefully) enable the straightforward assembly of neuromorphic circuits for locomotive control. Individual neurons can be used to build central pattern generator circuits. When central pattern generator circuits are combined with feedback neurons, they can produce oscillators. These oscillators, in turn, allow for the encoding of stable gait patterns.
