Disable the preview module on the choppy server - it likely causes the CPU spike. Also check power plan, background tasks, and GPU settings. Small differences can impact performance. |

I'm using CasparCG in combination with a DeckLink SDI card to render and output two HTML graphics sources.
I'm running this on a pair of identical Windows Server 2016 PCs. These both run a pair of Xeon Silver 4210 CPU's with 32GB of RAM and a Nvidia T4 GPU.
One server is running the two channels absolutely fine, 10% memory usage, and 20% on the CPU. The other is sitting around 40% on CPU and has quite a choppy output. Both are running the same build of Caspar server, and run identical config files. The Nvidia settings all appear to be the same, and the servers are the same, right down to the firmware / BIOS, Windows build & drivers.
The HTML graphics are hosted locally using the NPM development server. Again, versions all match between servers.
I'm running out of things to check. I can't work out why one would run so well, and the other appears choppy.
It would appear its the preview windows that are increasing the CPU load. I'm using the built in module, I have also tested with an NDI output & Studio Monitor. Again, this setup is the same on both servers - but only appears to be an issue on one.
