How to hide Catima on the power screen (Android 11) #2386
-
I am using Android 11 on an Oscal phone and the screenshot below shows what I get when I go into the power screen. This is a nice feature, but I do not use it and I would prefer to keep the cleaner power screen that I had before installing Catima. If possible, I would like that feature to be optional, or have some way to disable it. Thanks a lot for your great work! |

I've done a bit of web searching and I found https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/remove-smart-home-toggles-from-android-11s-power-menu-0315368/ which claims you can disable this as follows in the Android settings: Settings -> Gesture -> Power Menu -> Device Controls -> Disable "Show device controls" Can you see if that helps? |

Yes!! Too bad I did not find it by myself. However, that is a system setting that disables all of those controls. I can image cases in which one would like to keep some controls and not others. So, it might be worth anyway to have an option inside the app. I leave to you to decide whether to close this feature request or not. Personally, I am fully satisfied by your solution. Thank you!! |

As I recall, you can only have one device control visible by default, at least that's the case on Android 14+ but I think also on Android 11 already. Glad it helps :) |
