[Bug]: mcp.json opens on every chat prompt #1325

What happened?
The %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\mcp.json file (if it exists) opens in tab after submitting any chat prompt to GitHub Copilot chat. This appears to happen when the extension is enabled and a file exists at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Code\User\mcp.json. The contents of mcp.json don't appear to matter, including whether a Checkmarx MCP is present/configured or not. If the tab is closed, it will reopen when the next chat prompt is submitted. If the file doesn't exist, the issue doesn't occur. The issue also doesn't occur if the Checkmarx extension is disabled or removed.
