You will see exactly what the dark contrast between Lilu and PenguinWizardry will be once the alpha version is released.

Hi everyone, I am sorry, but as macOS 26 is the last version of macOS with Intel support, among other things like conflicts with other Hackintosh devs and community members, lack of donations, and burnout, I am not cancelling anything per se but I don't think I will continue Hackintosh work for a while, there is a chance I might come back to everything when there are better conditions.

From when I was researching how to parse the dyld shared cache for the significantly improved user-space patching that would've been in PenguinWizardry.

From when I was working on the Rust APIs.

I will however try to release an AppleALC replacement that is completely automatic. The layout generation is functional and only the codec-specific patches and another thing are missing.

In the meantime, you can be excited in what's essentially a spiritual successor to Hackintosh: https://github.com/ChefKissInc/QEMUAppleSilicon. You may have seen it recently for example being used inside a Nintendo Switch.
