lost plots

I shut down my harvester for a few days and unplugged 5 external USB drives for that time. When I reconnected them through a USB hub, the plots were not recognized. Plugging them into the PC directly did not get them back either. In the GUI, I see the drives under add a directory. When I try to delete them from the directory there, I get this:

[Error 13] Permission denied. You are trying to access a file/directory without having the necessary permissions. Most likely one of the plot folders in your config.yaml has an issue.

Is there a way to retrieve the plots or are they simply gone?

So, I attempted to wipe one drive and re-plot. The new plots were successful, but they still weren't being detected. I uninstalled the GUI and deleted all app data. On reinstalling the GUI, I added the directories and it found the plots on the drives I had not wiped.

Now I am just replotting the drive I wiped while the blockchain syncs and I will be back up and running.
