Cant build chia-blockchain on debian 13 trixie. Python version incompatible.

Title says everything. How its is possible that debian packets are too new for chia?

Are you able to provide traceback from the error? Also are you installing from source or from the .deb file?

Im using python 3.13.5-1. This version is currently default for debian 13 trixie. Tired to lowering python but have dependency errors. Chia requires lower python version to build. Im trying to build chia-blockchain on debian.

Hey @Peter82kr how are you attempting to install the client? (source install or via the .deb file?, in theory the deb file should come with the proper version of python)

Hey @Peter82kr , the glibc errors should be resolved in the latest RC but that version is being investigated to confirm whether it is affected by the recent supply chain issues (as of now it appears that rc2 is safe to use but out of an abundance of caution we are still investigating to confirm).
