Chia award and k-size

what factors play into award of a Chia? is it purely the plotted TiB size or is award influenced by k-size? For e.g. 2 plots of K-32 and 1 plot of k-33 will be the same TiBi size - does the challenge search the plots regardless of plot size?

I saw a pie chart which showed super majority of chia coins assigned to K-32 plots

Is it because currently these are majority of the plots?
