What are the reasons for only 64bit builds?

Could someone explain to me why chia-blockchain is only available for 64bit systems? From where does this requirement arise? Cause I would like to run a farmer on one of my raspberry pi zero w, as far as I understand it doesn't need to be a power loaded beast.

Any ways to build chia for a 32bit DietPI / Raspberry Pi OS? Sorry if the question is crystal clear for the pythons experts but it's not my field of expertise.
