. ./activate command doesnt work while installing

/home/user/chia/chia-blockchain (dir where i execute . ./activate)
Python 3.8

i get this:

bash: ./activate: No such file or directory

am in here in the install guide:

How do i activate ?

To run this next: sh install-gui.sh

Yeah, looks like apt aborted for some reason. Maybe a problem with your system clock. Have a look at this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1096930/sudo-apt-update-error-release-file-is-not-yet-valid

that was correct auto time setup was not on, i turn it on and retried.

i figure it out.

I just ran "apt-get install python3.7-dev python3.7-venv"

i was missing the venv lib for python 3.7

Now i just need to make this thing sync, to be able to plot and farm.

That was the reason to reinstall.

before run command：./activate you must run this command：chmod +x venv/bin/activate

If you are still experiencing the issues it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version of chia. Please download it from here: https://www.chia.net/downloads/

Please note that upgrading major versions of chia generally requires the config.yaml to be recreated using these steps:
1. Stop chia
2. Rename the config or move it to a different directory
3. In CLI run chia init
4. Copy any custom settings from the old config to the new (plot drive directories, pool info, trusted node info, etc) - be careful here as yaml is very picky about formatting including those leading spaces
5. Start Chia
