Is there a way to connect a wallet to a remote full node?

I am using ubuntu, and I am wondering if there is a way to run the wallet-only, and connect the wallet to a remote full node.

Hi.
I have the same question. In my home network I have full synced node and on other machine I'd like to have synced wallet. In config.yaml I tried to set properties for wallet section:

wallet:
  full_node_peer:
    host: IP_of_my_local_fully_synced_node
    port: 8444

but wallet still no synced. Maybe there are other settings in config.yaml to change that I'm unaware??

I tried the same thing. Also opened port 8444, and copied over ssl certificates like the harvester setup, but no luck.

Same here. Connection is ok and established but no sync.

I upgraded my chia full node to version 1.1.6. I did some check from my wallet machine:
telnet NODE_IP 8444
And it turned out that I can not establish connection to the node machnie. I changed the firewall config and then on wallet machine I executed:
chia start wallet-only
I turned out that wallet stared syncing. In logs there were entries:

Synchronization took a lot of time but finally:
Wallet height: 359364
Sync status: Synced
Balance is zero :) but finally it works. I do not know if upgrade fixed connections. I didn't copy any certs between machines.
