should it be using more ram

hi maybe a newbie question buy hey gotta start somewhere
my ram seems to be not using a lot plotting. it seems to be going fine tho at the moment is my settings correct ?

plot count 3
ram max usage 6500 MiB
no if threads 12
buckets 128
then added to que same again twice

it does seem to be going a lot quicker than my previous plots that was set as default settings

maybe jumped the gun a bit too early using more now seems to be doin so much faster than before

just started a 4th plot run on a 1tb ssd
so far so good

hopefully wont mess it up ..any thoughts
am i doing too many
