Chia Strengths, weaknesses, improvements

Hello,

Thank you for this new crypto.
I believe in Chia Network.

Who likes well, criticism well, you know this adage. So don't take my remarks badly, but more from a positive point of view of improvement.
I am not a programmer, but a power user keen on new technologies.
I hope that my remarks can be constructive.

Strong points:

• Ergonomic interface
• Intuitive interface
• Easy to configure
• Wallet, plotting and farming in a single interface
• Ease of creating a new wallet

Point for improvement :

• Automatic configurations: it would be necessary to be able to dedicate the resources of the computer and for the wallet to be able to directly launch the plotting by itself calculating the maximum number of parallel plots and the best configuration automatically. Those are simple rules of three. If your programmers can define a new encryption protocol, they should know how to do simple rules of three. You just have to define the dedicated RAM, the temporary and permanent storage spaces, the percentage of dedicated CPU, he suggests validating and it's over, roll my Chia ...
• Be able to minimize in the background, in the task bar
• Protect the interface (as for the Ledger wallet). A password and double authentication: Once the PC is turned on, the wallet and the private keys are vulnerable to all attacks and hacking.
• A simple option to set the status of the node. Full nodes, Farmer only, Plotting Only, etc. Not everyone wants to go and type lines of code.
• A simple method to make communicate several computers of the same farm with different roles.
• Have an option to switch to an advanced interface which would offer the same advanced options that already exist in command line mode.
• Correct the reload, and force reload that never work.
• Reduce the number of bugs.
  • Version 1.1.6 for Windows does not work at all.
• No explanation of errors or bugs:
  • Incomprehensible log error message
  • No warning on fees or other problems encountered
  • No explanation when the node is not connected ... why ???
• No pool yet (pending)
• The plots have barbaric file names. It would take tags to differentiate them. Also be sure that you have not made a duplicate by making copy and paste.
• Be able to pause plotting.
• To be able to program a plotting stop, for computer maintenance.
• An option to automatically clean all temporary files after a software shutdown (temporary file space, log etc.), and be able to empty the cache.
• Support: Keybase: I created an account especially for Chia, it doesn't work at all, it's heavy, it's slow, it reloads every 10s, we can't find the messages, it rings constantly and it does not lead to zero when clicked, it is unusable. At least for me. I'm not sure this is the right interface if you want to eventually reach the general public. But this last point is very personal.

Additional point:

A question that has been working on me since day one. Why is all this space wasted?
I am not a programmer, but initially I thought that this encrypted space could have been used to offer storage space to companies with multiple replication. The Chia Network company could have sold this space for a small fortune, also paying the farmers in fees with part of the profits.
Is it a utopian vision to subsequently imagine remunerative encrypted data storage plots?
