Per chia-blog, this is supposed to be good, having already killed two NVME samsung EVO 980 pro's making plots, I don't want to push this thing, so I want to know real?
WRT to the EVO980, what I know is that I don't try to do more than 4x plots, and I stagger +30M, and I'm fine, I down throttle if they go above 70C, and I keep 4" fans on all the NVME drives 24/7, so now they stay below 50C, when I first started using 'chia plots create' months ago, they were running 90C out of the box, like I say here all along CHIA DESIGNED THEIR SOFTWARE TO KILL HW, CHIA IS OWNED BY DRIVE COMPANYS.
So how about it, any life forms here ever use this MP600? 2TB 8,000MB/S speed, not that it matters the 'plotting' is random-access and not sequential, so this thing still just does the normal; What matters is the controller chip, and I'm not sure if they use the same controller as the EVO-pro-980; It's the controller that is murdered by chia, not the nand memory.
