Harvester errors and warnings since 1.2.0

I've been using the following setup since 1.0.4 without any issues:

One 'node' machine running a full_node, wallet and farmer but without any local plots. And another machine running a harvester only, which has the actual plot disks attached to it.

Chia components on the 'node' machine are brought up using

$ chia start node
$ chia start wallet-only
$ chia start farmer-only

and on the 'harvester' machine using

$ chia start harvester

This setup follows the official guide Farming-on-many-machines and never had any issues up to 1.0.7.

After upgrading both machines to 1.2.0 I started seeing the following messages in the 'node' machine log:

At the same time there seem to be challenges coming through fine on the harvester machine, all with perfectly fine latency:

So I'm wondering: Are these errors and warnings of cosmetic nature (maybe shown because I'm not running a harvester on the 'node' machine locally) or is there really something wrong?

System specs:

• Node machine: Arch Linux x86_64, Kernel 5.10.48-lts, Python 3.9.6
• Harvester machine: Raspberry Pi 4 4GB, Arch Linux ARM aarch64, Kernel 5.11.4, Python 3.9.6

same issue here getting the error on my main node which haw local plots and a harvester. all was working well before

I've noticed you can't trust what the remote harvester says. I was farming flax on a remote harvester and everything said it was going great. Then I ran a plots check on it and noticed I had forgotten to set up any keys on that harvester. After updating the keys, I won some blocks the next day.

Are those errors continuous, or were they sporadic? Possible it's a network issue?

a remote harvester does not use keys - that is the farmers job to do
as far as the OP - if you are seeing it scan, it can only mean it is being issued challenges from the farmer, so it must be missing data from the new expanded farmer <-> harvester protocol that allows a remote harvesters plots to show on the main farmer

Yes I noticed that the farmer stops showing plot count from the remote harvester after some time as well. Still getting challenges through though.

I guess I'll wait until I've got some pool plots done and verify the setup by checking whether I get pool points or not.

I downloaded the main release branch it had a fix for harvester cache and the timeouts. My errors went away but now I'm getting javscript errors from the gui. Can't seem to win here.
