Im currently looking into this as well, I have drafted pull request #1116 to add virt-manager and qemu installs for apt/nala and zypper package managers. I have also added installs for VirtualBox, and gnome-boxes, these are 2 more familiar options for new Linux users. @ChrisTitusTech I would like feedback for the changes in the draft pull request before marking it ready for review. In the main branch, virtualization is in system-setup/$DISTRO (Only Arch and Fedora). I have setup a virtualization folder under applications-setup. I did not want to fully remove the existing setups so that is why qemu and virt-manager for pacman and dnf are commented out. Please provide thoughts on this and if it makes sense, or should I move the virtualization to the Distro Specific folders as it currently is setup? |

I propose adding virtual machine functionality to this script. Setting up a smooth and fully functional Windows virtual machine can be quite tedious (I'm currently facing this challenge myself).
This feature would greatly benefit many users, especially those new to Linux, who might be deterred by the complexity of VM setup on Linux, especially for Windows. Given that you already have a robust Windows and game ready system in place, @ChrisTitusTech, providing a guide or script to preconfigure the more challenging aspects would be incredibly helpful.
Key considerations could include:
I hope this gains traction 🎉
