Crash on Windows when viewing a video

Describe the bug
When viewing videos within the presentation, pympress may unexpectedly crash.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the PDF : example_media.pdf (it is simply a barebones example, others files can also trigger the crash)
2. Click fast on the video controls until it crashes. I am able to replicate the crash systematically within 1~3 seconds.

Environment (please complete the following information):

• OS: Windows 11
• Python version: 3.11.7
• Pympress version: 1.8.5
• Installation method: binary installer

Debug information (see below for file locations)

• What is reported in pympress.log?
  Everytime the crash occured the following was printed to the log:

[000001af94c98cf0] direct3d11 vout display error: SetThumbNailClip failed: 0x800706f4

• Does the problem still happen if you remove your config file? Yes

Can you post the complete log please? Maybe delete it, make it crash once, then post the new contents? It contains the version info needed to reproduce issues

Good thing you asked since while trying to replicate it I found out more about the crash: it can be replicated with a single click.
Unlike what I said at first, it has nothing to do with the video control buttons.
Here are the steps:

• open the PDF file
• let the video autoplay for 1 second
• click once on the video (any of both windows work)
• wait for the video to finish
• then, about 50% of the time, pyimpress becomes fully unresponsive
• if it didn't crash, start the video again and repeat the previous steps

Here is the whole content of the log file:

I should also mention that I run pympress from the command line, therefore the other message that I mentioned previously doesn't appear in the log but only in stdout. I incorrectly assumed that both were the same. It may have nothing to do with the issue anyway.

I had the same issue in the Windows version. Downgrading to 1.7.2 fixed the issue. I did not try other releases.
