I am looking for whole home energy monitor solutions and I was considering the CircuitSetup Expandable-6-Channel-ESP32-Energy-Meter. I live in Ireland and here we have 230v supply with UK style wiring and switch/socket standards. I also have few Solar panels installed by the builder and it is connected to an inverters and then to the breaker panel. Can you please let me know if this can be used for monitoring energy usage for the whole home including the solar generation and consumption (also if solar generated energy is going back to the grid monitor that as well.) also I have seen some documents mentioning the need on two 9V AC adaptors for reading grid + solar , is that the case with the 6C board ? additionally i see the recommended AC adapter for the UK - https://ie.farnell.com/ideal-power/77db-06-09/power-supply-ac-ac-10w-9v-0-67a/dp/2368014 is only rated for 500mA. Does it work with this board.
Additionally i would like to get some recommendation on the CT clamps as well.
I have the main breaker rated at 63A, solar breaker at 20A and various other secondary ckts with 10A/20A breakers. I am planning to start with Main supply, solar and couple of other ckts that consume the large chunk of our energy usage. Please recommend the suitable CT clamps for these ckts.
Finally, Is there an EU/Ireland online shop where the boards, ct clamps & 3D printed boxes are available to purchase ? this way I can save some money on the import taxes.
