The Civility Bureau Minors-Safety Schema is maintained as an open, shared standard. Participation in governance activities is voluntary and focused solely on keeping the schema accurate, interoperable, and aligned with real-world platform needs. The schema is self-contained and does not depend on participation in any working group for its operation.
The Systemic Risk & Early Warning Working Group is an optional forum for platforms and safety stakeholders. Participation is advisory only.
The Working Group enables:
- Review of proposed schema updates.
- Taxonomy alignment and normalization.
- Discussion of emerging harm patterns.
- Development of evidence for "reasonable steps" under regulatory frameworks (DSA, BOSE, OSA).
Participation in the working group or use of this schema does not grant access to:
- Private operational features.
- Paid services or shared intelligence products.
- Proprietary detection logic or thresholds.
The schema provides a standardized structure for data exchange. All specific detection logic and intelligence remain the proprietary property of the respective platforms.
