Did not want to open an issue as they could be too uncommon scenarios to blame Apollo itself... In summary, different situations where no input is detected.
I recently installed an old game that only natively supported direct input. I found out about Xidi and if I run the game directly in the computer it works, however if I launch it through Apollo, no input gets detected. I wonder if it is simply a matter of too many controller layers similar to issue #454, I haven't tested using steam big picture to emulate the controls to see if helped.
Also...
Similar to #827 another game I found to detect a xinput controller as keybinds change, but not actually accepting input afterwards is Just Cause 3. It initially appears to recognize the xinput is present, but it doesn't actually do anything.
Besides forcing inputs to be passed as X360 in Apollo do you have any other suggestions or workarounds?
Another idea I had was to launch x360ce, configure VIGEMBUS to x360ce, and then manually copy the config to the conflicting games. Could this possibly work, or does VIGEMBUS generates different device ids everytime Artemis connects?
