The aim of the "Replace Cypress JS tests with PyTest" is to replace Cypress tests with python PyTests unit tests. The reasons are:

• tests should be easily maintained by Python developers which contribute to the repo.
• JS test does not reflect in the code coverage which disinforms the current unit test code coverage.
• Cypress step in CircleCI is too time-consuming
