Bubble sub-button background colour not changing

Goal

Hi, Im another newbie to HA and yaml, Ive created a yaml to control my irrigation system, it all works but I cant control the background colors (and any other attributes for the sub buttons. Ive tried everything I can think of, but no resolution, almost makes me wonder if there is some HACS module missing,or similar. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem

Can not set the background colour for sub-buttons (nor can I change fonts, boarders etc.
