Describe the bug

I really like Bubble Card and use it a lot, so I hope this report is helpful.

On iPhone, Bubble Card slider can be triggered accidentally when swiping up from the bottom edge to go Home.

This can unintentionally turn on a light.

I first noticed this issue around the beginning of 2026.

Another issue is that when my finger stays on the slider slightly longer, which can happen during a gentle page scroll, the card seems to detect it as a hold. Even though my hold action is set to do nothing, the light is still activated.

To reproduce

  1. Open dashboard on iPhone
  2. Put a Bubble Card slider near the bottom of the screen
  3. Swipe up from the bottom edge to go Home
  4. Slider is triggered accidentally

Also:

  1. Touch the slider and keep the finger there slightly longer
  2. This can happen during a gentle scroll
  3. The card appears to detect a hold
  4. Even with hold action set to do nothing, the light is still activated

Expected behavior

The slider should not be triggered when using the iPhone swipe-up-to-Home gesture.

It should only react to a clear horizontal slide.

A possible improvement would be to trigger the slider only when the finger is clearly moving left or right, similar to the behavior of the Hue-like light card.

If a hold is detected, it should not also activate the light, especially when the configured hold action does nothing.
