Feature request: Keep ungrouped windows from the same app next to each other

I would love an option to keep windows from the same app next to each other, particularly for pinned windows.

For example, suppose I have the Files and Terminal apps pinned:

[ Files ] [ Terminal ]

If I open each app, the first window replaces the pinned icon in the same position:

[ Files window ] [ Terminal window ]

However, if I open a new Files window, it gets placed at the end:

[ Files window 1 ] [ Terminal window ] [Files window 2 ]

I would love the ability to keep windows from the same app next to each other:

[ Files window 1 ] [ Files window 2 ] [ Terminal window ]

For what it's worth, I love this applet. It comes the closest to matching the Windows 7/10 behavior, plus it looks nice and offers some very useful settings. Thank you very much for making this!

I'd like to backup this feature request.

Another thing I'd like to add to this request: When I have a pinned app with more than one open window and I close the window under the pinned icon, the pinned one appears as closed and the additional icons for the other windows stay where they were. I'd like to have the pinned icon to represent the next open window while there are still open ones.
